Right, so. Have finally decided that I'm really damn sick of all my flabby bits. Therefore, starting today I am doing something about it.

So this post is mostly for my own reference, as I'd like to see if I end up making any sort of progress and such. Read on or don't, it's all up to you. :D

It's a decent enough start, I guess. Tomorrow I will chill. Mom's South Beach book has some exercise guidelines, so on Monday I'm changing Random Treadmill Time! to Interval Walking Time! Supposedly it burns more stuff, so we'll see about that. And soon: 100 Push Ups! And possibly 200 Sit Ups! Maybe even some of the other 100/200 things! So much to do. SO MUCH.

Well. Eddie left for Places Far Away today. I have no idea where he is or when he'll be getting to wherever he's going. I has a sad.

So, I went and got a haircut. Because that usually helps (at least a little) when I get the sad. Head's been too hot lately, so I figured I'd get it chopped short like when I greened it last year. But! I fail at understanding how clipper guards work and had a miscommunication with the stylist, and so have a mostly shaved head. Oopsie. Got about an inch or so left on top, so it's sort of like that high & tight cut they do in the military. Oooopsie. But I've gotten used to it pretty much, and I figure if I decide I'm not cool with it I'll just buzz the rest off. And wear wigs. Because I can. In the meantime, am considering dying what's left a fun color or two.

Car is loaded and the weather's been rainy and cooler. That's gone right at least.

Tomorrow - Phase Three: Head Back East. Probably.

Paid the bills. Talked to landlady, forgot all about that 30-days-to-vacate notice. Oopsie. So much to do still. SO MUCH TO DO.

Cleaning Computer Room Day. Mostly done. Starting to feel overwhelmed. I hate packing. I HATE PACKING I HATE PACKING I HATE IT HATE IT HATE HATE HATE. DX

Phase One: Haul Some Stuff Back East is now complete.

Just got back from leave yesterday afternoon, am still dead. This place is too quiet without Reven and Ringo around, and it sucks. But, it was easier to have them stay with the parents than bringing them back and forth while things are crazy. Didn't manage to take back nearly as much as I wanted to, but that's alright.

So, the last two weeks. Spent the whole time ping-ponging between my parents' and Eddie's parents' houses. Mostly his parents' house. Would've tried to hang out with people, but with all the back and forthing, surprise funeral, and new baby visiting it just wouldn't have worked. Blarg.

Anyway, back in Lawton now (D:) and beginning Phase Two: Clean Out the Apartment. Today is Cleaning Upstairs Day. So far I've cleaned up Ringo's room and bagged up most of what's left of the clothes. Still gotta do our bedroom and the second bathroom. The main bathroom is waiting till closer to moving time. Also gotta sign the storage lease today, but that has to wait till Eddie gets home because we're down to one car (Jeepu's back East) and I'm not walking in this heat.

Come the weekend, most of the big stuff is going into storage. I think Zielke is the only one helping out, but he should be enough. In return we're running him down to Wichita Falls to find a laptop and such. The System still works.

That's about all there is right now. Soon to come, Phase Three: Head Back East. I'll probably be taking I-20, anyone know of any nifty touristy trappy things along the way (or want a quick visit?)? :D

Things I need to do soon (preferably before block leave):

*Find out whether we're paying movers or enlisting The Guys.

*Decide what books/movies are coming to Georgia with me, and what's staying here. Logically I cannot haul everything. Box up what's staying.

*Inventory EVERYTHING that's going into storage. EVERY. THING.

*Go through my clothes and figure out what doesn't fit anymore since being a healthy weight makes me too big for some of my pants X(. Goodwill anything that takes too much of a fight to get into. I HATE GETTING RID OF THINGS X(

*Goodwill all of Eddie's clothes that he doesn't want anymore (and that I won't be stealing).

*Also Goodwill the old microwave and vacuum.

*Get Ringo groomed.

*Take care of power/internet/water bills, bring up getting them canceled. Cancellation needs to happen by the time the lease is up.

*Bin up the winter clothes/coats/blankets.

*Buy more bins, maybe.

*Get Jeepu a tune-up.

*Look into getting the carpet cleaned.

*Buy a new Mighty Atlas Found the other old one.

*Figure out what the hell is wrong with my ipod and get it working.

Ho'kay, before I forget to say something. Regarding the previous entry, which has gone into stealth mode now. Disregard it. It's all true, mind. I'm still coming back to Georgia, but the reason why is supposed to be a seekrit or something. Go figure. Not that it wouldn't be terribly hard to figure out why I'd be coming back, but there you go. So ignore anything that wasn't work gripe or "I'm coming back to the East."

CONCLUSION: I'll be back in Georgia for at least half a year (at least!) come July. WE SHOULD HANG OUT. :3

So, 5am shifts suck. But at least I'm out by 9 or 10 and can have a nap. Woo. Also, facing the shelves sucks. The dust, it is filthy. Got tons of sales tags to hang tomorrow for Big Easter Week Sales, blarg. Got my MST3K, woo. ROWSDOWER ftw. Also got a ticket for doing Regular Speed Limit instead of Slow-Ass School Speed Limit. Seriously, 20MPH???! It was fucking 45 back home! And the damn Regular Speed Limit on my street is only 35, so it's not like I was going that fast. Weren't even any damn school kids out 'n about at the time. Bah. Anyway, there's $324 down the drain. Three weeks' pay gone, oh joy. Still, am surprisingly mellow about the whole thing. Ah well.

Husband is In The Field for the next couple days. Got some me 'n the critters time. Oh, and work. Gotta pay off that ticket, after all! X(

So today I started training in the ad department at work. Basically burned four hours pulling down expired sale tags. Rather tedious, but at least I'm not glued to one spot. Interesting change of pace. What's gonna suck is the Wednesday 5am shifts, bleh. But whatever, at least I'll have more evenings off.

Totally splurged and ordered MST3K Vol. 17, which should show up sometime this week. Need more, do not have enough. IT'S LIKE MY CRACK, I TELL YA.

Was kinda emo-for-no-reason earlier, then felt better 'cause a couple friends were talking about roadtripping all the way out here just to play Extreme Hide 'n Seek with me. It makes me happy. Speaking of roadtripping, my parents are coming to visit sometime next month. Woo!

Have been working a metric fuckton, mostly. Work work work. And then I got a tattoo on Saturday! It was no worse than, say... getting lightly bugnuk'ed. In the same general area. For half an hour straight. So, not so bad at all. And now I finally have the twin to Eliza's Virgo that I should've gotten sometime last year. Woo!

Found out my favorite neighbors are moving in two weeks, boo. Their huge-ass labradoodle is Ringo's OMGBFF, so he'll probably be sad when they go too. Trying to catch them on walks so they can get some play time in. Also! Eddie's unit may (or may not) be disbanding around the end of the year. Depending on what happens we may (or may not 9_9) be moving to Places Elsewhere. No idea where. It's fun being kept in the dark! D:

Hell, I guess it'd be okay if we wind up staying here. I still don't particularly like Oklahoma, but I've... adjusted. I could deal. Could deal better if things were done with LOGIC, but what can ya do.

Feeling better today. I kinda think I wanna grow my hair back out. Just to flippy-almost-shoulder-length. It means I'd have to suffer through the fugly hair-growing-out phase though, bleh. Rather wish it could be like The Sims. Click mirror! Change appearance! Pick new hair (and color!)! Why can't you be like games, Life? WHY? XD;;

Anyway. Hair growing, maybe. Then I'll get one of those awesome straighteners like that one I sorta kinda used to half own (do I still? no idea) and I will have straight hair that is actually straight. As opposed to straight hair that twists funny at the ends and looks silly. Y'know.

Now maybe sleep would be a good thing.

Yeah, so. Eddie's grandpa died last night. So we were up half the night fretting and whatnot. Funeral is Tuesday, so we hurried up and booked a flight to take him back to Georgia. I'm still out in Oklahellma because a)two tickets cost too much, b)couldn't get out of work (not today, anyway, but could've swung tomorrow and Tuesday), and c)there's no one out here to take care of Reven and Ringo, and kenneling them would burn even more money.

And I feel like utter crap for staying behind. I know they'll understand and all, but still. Wish I could be there.



On a lighter note, the boy got me some nice roses and daisies for the holiday. Left 'em in Jeepu for me to find after work. I cried with surprised glee. And then my eyes burned.

So I forgot to post, but the power is indeed back on. But only for half of my building. I have no idea how that works. But there's still outages here and there, which sucks. There's even an entire town somewhere around here that's still out of power. You'd think, since this sort of thing seems to happen kinda often the people who deal with this stuff would be a little more prepared. But uh, I guess not. Anyway, a good bit of the ice is melty, so maybe it's over for now.

Aside from icy madness, just been working for the most part. I like getting paid. Then there's the stomach pains from hell that attacked me randomly in the middle of the night yesterday. Like, pain so bad I couldn't move without crying and it kept me up for a couple hours I think. No idea where the hell that came from. Left just as randomly as it came, got a shit night's sleep for it. It's been a pretty shitty morning overall. Buuut got work in an hour so maybe that'll bring me out of my funk. And I think I'll go buy some socks afterwards.

Right, so Lawton is mostly covered in ice. I've been without power since... sometime Thursday afternoon. Apartment gets very cold. So we're staying with Rangel who magically still has power despite being just down the road. I'm not questioning it. But anyway the traffic light near the apartment is working again so that may mean the power has returned. Gonna ride up and check on that later.

I have never seen ice the likes of which I've seen this week. Seriously. Everything is covered in a poofy layer of ice, so weird looking. Like, even Jeepu. I had to get Eddie to practically break the door open so I could get to work. And then it'd freeze shut again so I'd have to kick at the handle a few times to be able to get back in. Also! On Thursday the store lost power so we had to kick everyone out. And throw a bunch of dry ice in the coolers to keep things from going bad. Fun! Stuff kinda burns though.

OH. And when we caved in and asked Rangel if we could stay with it took Eddie a good hour to get enough ice off Jeepu so we could drive. Friday was kinda sucky. I slid most of the way to work, whee. And it was surprisingly busy considering the condition of the roads. And the fact that technically a state of emergency was declared. Wtf, people. Also a few of the other guys came over as well since they don't have heat, so we had a little slumber party pretty much. XD

So, checking on the power situation. I'm hoping it's back, even though I've heard we may not be getting it back on till Monday or Tuesday. Good times all around, yo.

So indeed, I am employed again. Today was Day Three, and so far it's going well. Can't wait to start getting paid again, woo! If I've figured right paycheck next week will be around $180 before taxes. Taxes I cannot figure, bah. But it's pretty good for 23 hours, I think.

Agenda: find more work pants. Get current work pants freakin' hemmed. Buy some tea and send it BEFORE IT DISAPPEARS AGAIN DAMMIT. Possibly buy something cute from ModCloth. Laundry. Work moar.

Also have learned that my legs have gotten too big to fit into my old Hakkai pants. Legs and gawddamned hips. Even though all my other pants still fit.* How...? So if I ever get to do Hakkai again I'll need new pants. And a fix to those seams I tore like a fucktard. I miss cosplaying. And I can't find my contacts. Wtf?

And that's about it, really. The Cashier is back.

*I can wear a 2, (presumably 3), 5, or 7 depending on how the damn things are made. Pants are dumb. o.O

So, things have been uneventful since I got back out here. It's been cold, but there's still no snow. However! The permapuddle behind my building is a solid sheet of ice, and has been since we got back. There's even a small grill stuck in it. So I walked around on the puddle. And maybe danced a little with Ringo. But no one saw that. I still feel cheated on the snow thing though. It's like, I leave Oklahoma. Oklahoma gets snow. I leave Georgia, Georgia gets snow. Get back to Oklahoma, no snow. WHAAAAAAT.

Anyway. So this week I've been doing a little bit of job hunting. Very very little, but anyway. Dropped off an application at this place Country Mart today, and I've already had a callback for an interview, which is tomorrow morning. Woo! That's almost as fast as I got set up with Ramada. XD

So maybe very soon I'll be employed again. Whee!

In other news, the tea has disappeared. The friggin' tea that was meant for a gift somehow disappeared. I am so displeased like a very displeased person, I tell ya. So if/when this job stuff gets started I'll just have to order some more. I fail at tea gifting! D:

Firstly, Happy Late Winter Holiday. And Happy New Year and stuff. 2009 was partly good and partly suck.

Year in review:

Spent several months without the husband, came to hate Oklahoma. Quit my job, dyed my hair blue. One of my best friends moved to the other side of the friggin' world. Moved to Oklafrigginhoma. Still hate it. Missed Dragon*Con, dyed the hair green. Am no longer underweight. Adopted a puppy. Beat NaNoWriMo. Discovered mojitos. Had trick-or-treaters for the first time in a good decade or so. Spent Thanksgiving with some Army guys. Broke the bank to get back East for Christmas, haven't really had a chance to see anyone. Spent the whole time bouncing between parents' and inlaws' houses. Fail. Cut the green off, still have ashbrown roots. Hair is fried. Got some neat things for Christmas. Like, a video camera. May or may not plague the internets with inane video bullshit.

Those are the highlights, anyway. Heading back to points westward in the morning, and am only on the net because the inlaws' wireless decided to cooperate today.

So... I finally got around to watching Twilight, and HO'SHIT. That has to be one of the worst movies I've ever watched. Not exciting, not romantic, not even interesting. Every single negative thing I've ever heard about it is true (not that I really needed these things proven, we were just wasting time today). Conclusion: it's not worth the film it's printed on. I'd consider paying the $4 for the RiffTrax, but that's it. Mike, Kevin, and Bill could make it a lot more bearable.

Giving Ringo a bath shortly afterwards was more interesting, that's how bad it was. For reference, he doesn't enjoy baths at all but doesn't really give us any trouble. Bath time is uneventful. Also am considering buzzing my hair back down to an inch later today. That'll be more interesting too. I might give myself a temporary mohawk!
